What is Healthy Diet?

Healthy-HeartThe real value of foods resides in their coded information, apart from their molecular configuration, that is necessary for our systems to function. What we know as nutrients are molecules that contain the same elements that structure the bodies of animals, vegetables and minerals. They contain condensed energy with an important component of information, which we consume in an integral form. In addition to nourishing our bodies, they are also perceived by our consciousness.

For example we will get more nutritional value from a food prepared with love than we generally would from a mass-produced food. Unfortunately, the foods we regularly consume are loaded with toxins, agro-chemicals, hormones, excess salt or sugar, simple carbohydrates, fats and animal protein etc. These change not only their material quality, but also the quality and type of subtle information they can transmit.

This fast food culture is new for humanity and was introduced in recent years with the culmination of a fraudulent Green Revolution (1940 – 1970). The main characteristics of this so-called Green Revolution were the use of agro-chemicals, the establishment of monoculture and the loss of traditional ways of cultivating the earth. Also with the rise of mass-produced foods, to which were added artificial ingredients for their processing and preservation, we ended up with foods that are addictive and which behave as anti-nutrients. Anti-nutrients harm the body by increasing its toxic load and interfering with normal physiological functions. They also deplete the body of vitamins and minerals, cost energy to process and, finally, cause degenerative diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, cancer, heart problems and mental and emotional dysfunction and suffering.

The model for the modern way of feeding people comes out of a greedy, ungrateful and irresponsible mindset. This way of thinking sees only the market and consumerism without giving any weight to the well-being of people, of the planet and of other living beings.

Science has observed that the ancient communities that adopted a modern diet showed the same negative indicators as developed societies within twenty years as far as rates of obesity, cancer, diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, and other cardiovascular diseases go. Science has also proven that a healthy diet is organic, free of pesticides and other chemical additives, balanced, light, and natural with fats and proteins of vegetable origin.

When we get our protein from vegetable sources there are additional benefits because they come mixed with carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, phyto-hormones, chlorophyll, fiber and other elements that only plants have to offer. When vegetables, fruits and different greens are fresh, they have a vital energy which meats and badly processed foods have lost.

By promoting a healthy, respectful and compassionate diet, OIDA Therapy embraces the idea of giving love and respect to all, including animals and Mother Earth. Following our common sense, we try to avoid any type of unnecessary violence against the animals, the environment and ourselves by eating a healthy, vege diet.
